Noé has been recognized by President Bush, the American RedCross, and several Veteran's groups. Noé has been accepted to perform for the Armed Forces Entertainment Program. and hopes to entertain our troops overseas. Noé has also been recognized by Governor Bill Richardson For the dedication of the song When You Come Home Written and sung by Noé Licon for our Troops and commending him for the support he is giving out troops and Veterans. Noé has been giving his CDs to our troops and Veterans. with hundreds of copies having been given to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, NM and Fort Carson, Colorado where Noé was stationed.
Noé Licon was born of a musical family. He began with his band at the age of 15. His ambition to become a performer was dormant during his military service, marriage and successful businesses until he lost his wife, Ophe. Her memories and support for his music is the driving force behind his current stage success. Performing for the public is what Noé has done most of his life boxing at the age of ten, singing with his band at fifteen, sky diving during his tour in the army, compeating in karate touraments, and is still active as a Karate Instructor.
